Welcome to Fat Slice. By accessing our website, requesting a quote, or booking our food catering services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms establish the legal relationship between you (the client) and Fat Slice regarding all catering orders, deliveries, and services. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not use our website or book our services.

Catering Orders, Minimums, and Headcounts

• Order Minimums: Because we specialize in gourmet catering, our packages are subject to specific minimums. Our Mix & Match Boxes require a minimum of 10 pieces, and our custom Per-Guest Catering Packages require a minimum of 6 pieces per order.

• Final Headcount & Adjustments: For large corporate or private events, final guest counts and menu selections must be confirmed at least 48 to 72 hours prior to the scheduled delivery or event date.

• Acceptance of Orders: All catering requests are subject to availability in our production schedule. An order is only considered confirmed once you receive an official confirmation and, if applicable, a deposit has been paid.

Pricing, Deposits, and Payments

• Payment Terms: For standard online orders, payment must be made in full at checkout. For large-scale event catering, a non-refundable deposit may be required to secure your date, with the remaining balance due prior to delivery.

• Price Changes: Fat Slice reserves the right to modify the prices of our catering packages, individual items, and delivery fees at any time. However, once a catering quote is officially accepted and confirmed, your pricing is locked in.

Cancellations and Refunds

• Cancellation Policy: Due to the preparation, sourcing of premium ingredients, and labor required for catering, orders canceled within 48 hours of the scheduled delivery time are not eligible for a refund.

• Advanced Notice: Cancellations made prior to the 48-hour window may be eligible for a full or partial refund, minus any processing fees or non-refundable deposits.

Delivery, Setup, and Receiving

• Delivery Windows: We strive to deliver all catering orders within the agreed-upon time window. However, delivery times are estimates and may be subject to unforeseen delays (e.g., severe traffic or weather).

• Receiving the Order: It is the client’s responsibility to ensure an authorized person is available to receive the catering order at the designated time and location. Fat Slice is not responsible for orders left unattended at the client's request.

Food Safety, Allergens, and Quality

• Allergen Warning: The Fat Slice kitchen handles major allergens, including dairy, gluten, nuts (pistachios), and soy. While we take strict precautions to prevent cross-contamination, we cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment and cannot be held liable for adverse allergic reactions.

• Safe Consumption: Our sandwiches are crafted fresh to order for immediate consumption. For maximum quality and food safety, catering items should be consumed within 2 hours of delivery or promptly refrigerated. Fat Slice assumes no liability for the quality or safety of food that is improperly stored or held after delivery.

Menu Modifications and Substitutions

• Ingredient Sourcing: We pride ourselves on using premium, fresh ingredients. In the rare event of supply chain shortages, Fat Slice reserves the right to substitute an ingredient with one of equal or greater quality without prior notice, ensuring your catering order remains uncompromised.

Intellectual Property

• Brand Protection: All content on this website—including the brand name Fat Slice, our menu names (The Fat Italian, The Red Sun, The Angry Fowl, The Orchard Hog), photography, logos, and proprietary sandwich architecture—is the exclusive intellectual property of Fat Slice. You may not reproduce, copy, or use our branding without written permission.

 Account Suspension and Refusal of Service

• Right to Refuse: Fat Slice reserves the right to refuse service, cancel catering contracts, or suspend customer accounts for any reason, including but not limited to abusive behavior toward our staff or failure to comply with these terms.

Limitation of Liability

• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fat Slice shall not be liable for any indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your use of our catering services, website, or products.

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the local laws of the jurisdiction in which Fat Slice operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
